Did you ever think what’s behind the dog’s feelings? Maybe it’s the first time you’re hearing a thing like this, but dogs have feelings too. According to researchers, dogs can be jealous sometimes. This happens rarely and occurs in situations when there are other animals besides the dog itself.
But if you as a dog owner, will show so much love and passion, then the dog will somehow understand it.
Considering that dogs are such an intelligent type of animal, they can understand the things you say. This depends on a kind of dog you’re educating, but some of them can understand almost everything you talk to them.

In this adorable video that went viral, the dog’s dad talked to his dog. The dad tells his dog that he got a kitten.

Before confirming the feline addition to the family, however, the man first teases his canine kid, making it seem as though he got every other animal except the kitten!

And the talking dog’s reaction is absolutely adorable, and not unlike what a human child might do!

But how well do dogs actually understand their humans?

Academics in Hungary performed an experiment to answer that question. They scanned dogs’ brains in order to discover how dogs process human speech. And what they found out is that dogs’ brains process language in a similar pattern as that of humans. That is to say, the right side deals with emotions while the left processes meaning.

And it was only when both sides of the brain came to the conclusion that what they were hearing was indeed praise that the dog showed signs of being happy. That means the words that a human says has to match up with the upbeat, baby tones some people use when addressing their dogs. Otherwise the pooch will likely catch onto the inconsistency!

For example, you are not likely to get away with using an upbeat tone to convince your dog it will be fun to visit the vet or have their nails trimmed.

You might even be able to imagine what your dog’s “human” voice would sound like, as this dog dad did in the video below. Talking dog and other talking animal videos are nothing new, but that doesn’t make them any less enjoyable to watch!
