You may never visited North Korea but it’s completely a strange place. It is one of the most isolated places in the world. You should be very lucky that you weren’t born in a country like this. If your friend has a future plan to visit this country make sure that you have told him about the surreal things that happen in this place. It will feel like you’re living in a bad dream.

1. There are only 3 television channels in North Korea

Imagine that you can be a member of a undeveloped country but still it has more than 15 TV Channels, while in North Korea you may never thought that this could happen.
These television channels in North Korea, most of the times show broadcasts or programs that only government approves.
2. There are a LOT of statues of the country’s revolutionary leader, Kim II Sung
Did you know that in North Korea there are around 34,000 statues of the “king” that had led the country? This is too much and will for surely reflect negatively for a tourist that visits the country for the first time in his life and see these statues. It will feel like that these statues never end and unfortunately you will probably see that “Supreme Leader” in your dream as well.

In this place, men’s haircuts should be similar to their supreme leader. Married women are expected to wear their hair short. Single women may “cut loose” by letting their hair grow longer, but within strict government-approved limits.
