Many women think that buying several shampoos can be the right solution for the best hair. But, washing the hair with different shampoo each time, can make the hair more oily and damaged.
It’s really important to know the right treatment for the hair.
Washing the hair every day can’t also be the right solution because in this way the hair won’t be healthier.
But what about washing the hair only with water and avoiding shampoo?
Below you will read a story of a young girl who did this experiment and was shocked with the results.
6 Months Without Shampoo?
The girl who did this experiment was supposed to try the test just for a month, but she stopped using shampoo for six months. She used apple cider vinegar combined with baking soda instead of a shampoo. The result was amazing.
Many people are not familiar with the fact that commercially made hair products, including shampoos, of course, can remove the natural oils in the hair. Consequently, the scalp overexcites and tends to produce more oil which is not necessary. This natural oil does not reach the ends of the hair so you need to use conditioners to protect the hair ends from splitting and damaging and to soften them too.
You Can Try This Amazing Experiment Too
Everyone could try the no shampoo experiment. No matter if your hair is normal, dry, stringy or thick, you can use apple cider vinegar and baking soda and you will have better hair.
At the beginning of the experiment, there was an adjustment period, which is normal. The smell of a salad after showering was a bit unpleasant. Fortunately, the odor of vinegar quickly disappears so this was not a problem.
After a month, the results were already visible. The girl noticed that her hair became healthier without using shampoo. It became less greasy and easy to manage, she didn`t have to wash her hair for four to five days. Moreover, it became shinier and softer. There were some difficulties of course, but they were easy to fix. Usually, she solved the problems with coconut oil.
Every Start Is Difficult, But Then She Was Shocked
At first, it was hard to adjust because of the smell. Walking around smelling like salad dressing after showering seemed to be unappealing. The good news was that there was no residual odor, meaning the strong smell of the vinegar dissipates almost immediately.
After a month without shampoo, the girl noticed just how healthier her hair became as she continued to avoid shampoo. It became more manageable and less greasy – she didn’t even have to wash her hair for four to five days. Still, it became much softer and shinier. Of course, there were some setbacks, but those bad hair days were usually easy to fix. Most of the time, she simply applied coconut oil to her damp hair and the frizz was all gone.
If this inspired you, you may want to give the experiment a try. Here’s what the girl did:
1. Use two tablespoons of baking soda and put it in a 500 ml (equivalent to one pint) glass jar if you have long hair. For medium length, one tablespoon in one cup of water will do the trick.
2. Fill the glass jar with water and dissolve the baking soda by stirring.
3. Have two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar into a jar that has the same size as the one for the baking soda. One tablespoon is enough for those who have medium length hair. Add it in one cup of water.
4. Add water to the vinegar.
5. Wet your hair.
6. Pour the baking soda solution to your hair and start massaging.
7. Rinse well afterward.
8. Pour the vinegar to your hair and rinse. Don’t wait too long; one minute is usually enough.
Within six months, you will notice just how silky, smooth, and manageable your hair has become. This natural treatment will surely keep you away from commercially available hair care products that only damage your hair in the long run.
